comfy bed, loyal staff. powder tower and other nice tourist spots were near this hotel.
Great nearby places include Buddha Bar, we usually had drinks there. Steps away from palladium shopping centre. Walking distance to Namesti Republiky metro station, some 5 minutes walk.
Wonderful hotel! Very modern rooms, responsive staff. Pleased cleanliness in the room, very comfortable beds. Delicious, varied breakfast.
there were no disadvantages.
No cereal for breakfast, no air conditioning in the room.
Location is excellent
The service staff is not very friendly. No slippers or bathrobes in the room.
The sound isolation isn't very good. Some guests arrived drunk during the night and did a lot of noise in our floor. That wasn't the hotel's fault but the sound isolation could be better.
Very friendly staff, made our stay very pleasant. Very close to the attractions and some good shopping spots. Restaurants just around the corner and opposite the hotel. All in all very good hotel
wonderful location, excellent breakfest buffet, very friendly staff, very clean rooms.
Very centralize, near main train station. Walking distance to old town 3 mins , to new town & shopping 2 mins. Excellent location. Value for money. Room clean and staff very friendly n speaks good English.
Location, location, location :) It is located less than 5 minutes walk from main square in Old Town. Also, easily accessible by metro from main bus station. Bathroom was very clean, breakfast was ok.
Too expensive for what they offer. But if you are staying for 2-3 nights, it is acceptable. All appliances and furniture are very old, bulbs missing in lamps, windows look as they could not be closed properly, but place looks clean. Room in all was far from the name it has ("Deluxe Triple Room") It was probably deluxe when hotel was opened, some 30-40 years ago :)
Last minute availability and central location. Overnight parking was a bonus.
Although advertised as breakfast served from 8am until 10am everything was cleared away by 9.45 with only coffee and toast available. The staff were polite but disinterested, perhaps that is the Czech way or typical city hotel but disapointing nonetheless.
We especially liked that we could walk to everything we were interested in seeing while there. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! Our view (we lucked out on that!!) was very nice! Will tell others about Central Hotel if they are visiting Prague.
Not used to what we presume is the "typical" bedding for that area! Also, as Americans, we are used to having a washcloth provided-but managed without!
very good value, close to all amenities, very good service and cleanliness
The hotel was clean and tidy and within easy access of main locations and also very close to the shuttle bus stop to and from the airport. Plenty of choice offered at breakfast although the bar and coffee area closed very early in the evening. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and the rooms were kept clean daily although the matresses were quite hard and not very comfortable- that would be my only complaint.
